Some Suggestions for GFX

Hello everyone!

 

I have some suggestions to share with you guys about the GFX section.

Here are some ideas:

 

1. SOTW/BSOTW (Signature of the Week/Beginner's Signature of the Week)

 

For this, I was wondering if we could host contests for Signatures every week. With beginners and advanced artists entering.

 

And we could have people vote on who's is the best.

I have rules already planned out:

 

Each week, the theme of the signatures change, and every artist who enters will have to create one before the deadline to be entered in the contest.

 

Only ONE entry is permitted.

 

If you are not an official GFX Artist, you will be placed in the BSOTW (Beginner's Signature of the Week) contests. If you win 2 consecutive (in a row) BSOTW or 3 BSOTW (not in a row), you HAVE to move up to SOTW (Signature of the Week)

 

Prizes will be determined by the judges (who will be decided if this is allowed).

 

Artists have the freedom to create whatever they want, as long as it does not become too detached from the theme and it does not contain any vulgar or inappropriate images.

 

2. GFX Ideas (Possibly a Monthly Contest)

 

For this I was thinking of people creating art that would benefit the forum itself, with icons and logos and other stuff.

 

This may or may not be turned into a Monthly/Yearly/Once in a Lifetime Contest where prizes are steeply staked and the winner will have their ideas published.

 

This could also however be just a sub-forum, where people place ideas in the form of images.

 

And that's it for now.

This all sounds very interesting but since I'm not such a GFX person anymore, I can't really do these. Nor do I have a lot of free time.
