I could be wrong but I think the patched 70530 no longer works--it will tell you that you must upgrade to the latest version.  You could try reinstalling it but before starting it up install Flex patch that has the bypass version check and see if 70530 still starts up, but TBH I'd be surprised if it still works even with Flex version bypass patch.

I got the 2-hour lockout (AKA the please subscribe even though you're already subscribed bug) again a few days ago; TBH it might still be due to NBA server detecting that I had turned off VPN after having started the stream--I do know it wasn't because I forgot to turn on VPN before opening the app.  However I do see that the latest/current legit version is now 71123 (App Store identifies it as 71121 for whatever odd reason but it installs as 71123)--until now I was on 71109; guess I'll find out if 71123 fixes the annoying erroneous subscription lockout.

Sad that I also encounter the 2-hours lockout this morning when I want to watch the lakers game live (I live in HK and its morning for me to watch live game). I was still following my old method in starting up the app as usual and I believe I didnt forgot anything. But just now I can use the same method to watch the achieved game without any problem, so maybe I accidentally launched the app without VPN this morning. My iPhone is in 7.1019, iPad in 7.0928 & iPod in 7.1031, all are not in latest version and I am still thinking whether update or not. BTW, i found that the app will check whether you are in india or not once every 2 hours, so if you recored a indian VPN and you should be able to watch game with that NBA account on any device for that 2 hours.  I am not sure in what scenario you encounter the 2-hours lockout, whether during you are watching or before watching, but I guess the NBA side should have update nothing in this field

If I had to guess, I'd say that they must be detecting it once I turn off India VPN so that I can get full streaming speed; I got the 2-hour lockout again last night when trying to watch the Warriors-Pelicans game, and as of 10 AM PT this morning was still locked out.  Whatever the reason for it, it is annoying as sh*t--I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, removing my linked devices from my LP account profile...no luck.

Update--I decided to check again at 1 PM PT today...now I can watch games again.  Really do think they check to see if you're consistently connected from India while watching the games--I made sure that there was only one device streaming the other night so no way it could have been locked out due to multiple simuntaneous streaming.

I only encounter the 2-hours lockout because of not using indian VPN to login, and it will only lock me for around 2 hours so far. Never tried to have yours like locking for overnight. And reinstalling/unlinking should not be working as there should have some data stored on the NBA side everytime you login, so you uninstall on the client side cant help at all. 

I turn off VPN everytime during watching games and so far no problem if the game duration is within 2 hours. Several time that the game have OT/longer than 2 hours, they will lock me up. So I guess their checking algorithms is like
1) check the record on their side for your NBA account, whether is recorded in indian, if yes then good to go. If no record, then check your ip at that moment. And of course if there are record showing you are not from indian ip, then you are locked up. And this process will repeat every 2 hours, so when you are watching long game over 2 hours, you will be blocked after 2 hours from your first login.

before saying this not worth, you sure you followed all steps for this method?
I used this method to watch NBA since the season start, without any problem other than manual mistake done myself.
can you tell us more detail about the not working case?

I get the lockout even if I DO use India VPN to log into my account--either way the lockout eventually clears after 2 hours or so, until the next time I get locked out again.  Speaking of locked out--I think the NBA app people have caught onto trickery like what we're doing; here is their reply to my support ticket about the Buy Subscription issue:

"Our system has flagged the IP address you have provided as coming from a known proxy server. Please ensure that you do not have any proxies or VPNs running on your computer or network. Once this step is completed, go to http://www.whatismyip.com and reply to this ticket with your IP address, along with your city state/province and country, so that we can investigate this issue further."

Obviously I am not going to turn off my VPN and try again like they asked since if I do and reply back with the IP address, then they will easily be able to tell that I did the test from a non-India location.  Even if I can reply back with a made up but legit non-VPN India IP address, it won't do me any good since we now already know that they lock out streams if detected via proxy server or VPN.  Actually I'm not surprised they have this check in place since the NBA is big money business.

Since you have to be on India VPN (even if only long enough for their servers to correctly authenticate your LP account) before streaming, I'm almost certain they would have been able to register your IP address at that point.  If people claim that they have never gotten the 2-hour lockout even though on India VPN, then I can only speculate that maybe they have a blacklist of known VPNs and/or proxy servers.

Eh, guess I can either continue playing the cat-and-mouse game of waiting 2 hours for my subscription to unlock or I can just simply watch via web browser on my laptop connected to my TV via HDMI since apparently the lockout doesn't affect watching games via computer.  When I checked earlier today (Thursday) my subscription was not locked so I could watch games from my iDevice today if I wanted to--however I do not plan to watch any games today so it will be interesting to see if they still lock me out tomorrow.

Update—so Thursday morning I verified that I wasn’t locked out from watching; I didn’t attempt to watch a single game that day...now it’s Friday morning 5:30 am and I’m locked out so I’m almost certain they are locking me out based solely on my IP address that they can somehow detect is coming from a proxy server/VPN. So it has nothing to do with watching a game for more than 2 hours because I didn’t watch a single game yesterday yet today I’m locked out from watching.

Update #2--Checked again later Friday afternoon, no longer locked out; did not watch any games Friday.  Checked again this (Saturday) morning--not locked out.  Not holding my breath that I'll be able to watch any games later today (or tomorrow) if I check again.
