I have found a fix for the invisible crosshair. What you do is you join in the game with the "shoot through walls" feature disabled. When your in the game you should see your crosshair. When you spawn in enable the "shoot through walls" feature and you should see your crosshair. The amazing thing about this is that your crosshair turns red even when aiming at enemies *through* walls. You can stand at the other side of the map and keep aiming around until your crosshair turns red and you just shoot.
