Help/Support How do I run a thinned armv7 binary on an iPhone 7+ with ios 10.1.1

Hi Guys,

I have downloaded a game through iTunes and was able to crack it with Clutch on my iPhone 7+ with ios 10.1.1.

I was also able to install and run the cracked game.

Now I want to thin the binary to armv7 (so I am able to hack/cheat) but after doing that the game crashes immediately leaving me with no clue what I did wrong.

What did I do:

lipo -thin armv7 <game> -output <game>
chown mobile:mobile <game>
chmod 0777 <game>
ldid -s <game>

What did I overlook or am I missing here ?
I am out of clues...

iOS 10.1.1 JB is unstable or it does not support armv7 for some reason. Does it reboot your device?

No, only the game crashes. If I replace the thinned binary with the fat one, the game starts fine right after that...

I got this too when I manually thin it using phone.

Thinning using https://armconverter.com/binarytools works for me.

(need to ldid -s it)

@Ted2, Used the thinning option @ binarytools but neither worked (thinned & thinned without aslr).

If I place the file on a location for you to download, can you check if it works for you ?
