Tool Radio tower cant build it

Even if i hav it in my backpack i cant build it y  when i try to build it it show nothing just blank

I don't think you need the tower anymore, the Developer has opened up a watchtower, you need to craft :

Refined Melting Furnace

Generator

Chopper

Then take the Generator to the watchtower and hook it up.

So what's the trick to hooking up the generator?  I took it with my chopper to the tower but when I click on the gears it tells me I need the generator even though it's in my inventory

build it at your base in full outside then place it at the back of chopper drive to the tower and remove from chopper then walk to the base of the tower and put into place all done.

But also don't come empty handed. Bring at least one weapon and a few bandages, as there will be a horde of zombies attacking after you put down the generator.
