Watch tower question

Hey Guys,

 

im fairly new so still trying to find myself with the game.

i have a fairly good grasp of the game but unsure how to get the watch tower to move me to the winter area...

as far as the getting to it goes I can get there but I need a generator which requires a chopper? 

This seems excessive to get to the next area and I fear I am missing something here?

 

othwerwise I only have access the Alfra and the starting areas etc?

Keep going in to Alfa, collect the tokens and open the crates on the first level

These crates contain good stuff and you might just get the Choppa Tank

Alfa is the best you can do untill you reach a high enough level with plenty of items to start craftin serious stuff

Dont craft anything to early as it may crash the game losing you're progress

Best thing to do is just go with the flow, don't force or rush anything just let it flow, remember this is a survival game, you are one of the last people on earth, you ain't going nowhere so take you're time.
