No need for a three-finger tap. There's an icon you can tap to activate mods.

It does it just that the face is on the right side of the screen hiding halve its face just drag it over

It's possible to force 'move' your character, by selecting a monster and then using a skill, it will teleport you straight next to the selected monster.
