Help/Support Cydia Impactor Error 42

[Kingjoe93 0 iPhone 6s 11.0]

Hi everyone!

I'm new here, as a matter of fact i'm new to this whole iOS thing..

That been said, i had an issue installing my first ipa file using Cydia Impactor this morning..

An error popped up that says:

 

" installation.cpp:42

Failed to find matching arch 32-bit Mach-O input file

/private/var/installd/Library/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/

temp.lluuKh/extracted/Payload/iFile.app/iFile"

Am i doing anything wrong here? please Help!

what device do you have?

what game are you trijg to install?

iPhone 6s running iOS 11.

Trying to install iFile 2.2.0-1.ipa and xCleaner_1.0.2.ipa with no luck on both.

So it won’t work then? Like ever?? And does that mean I can’t install any ipa file on my iPhone ?

ios 11 doesnt support arm32 binaries only. If a ipa has a arm64 binary, you can install it.

Really? okay what about xCleaner ? it gave me the same error.

The file he is trying to install is iFile, he can not do this on a non Jailbroken device. 

iFile is a tweak for Jailbroken devices

I take it xCleaner is an alternative to iCleaner, again these are tweaks for Jailbroken devices and will not run on non Jailbroken devices. 

I have never heard of xCleaner so I'm not sure if it's the same issue as iFile.
