Try Safe Mode also and do you have any hacks or tweaks installed?

Tried reinstall before with the same result, didnt know about safemode on ios devices until googled and will test that when i get home. I have airmax hack installed all the time since prior to 1st installation, i guess that might be the culprit, will report back tonight. Thanks bro

so i removed airmax hack, went to safe mode and reinstalled, still stuck at connecting screen... ipad air 8.1.2

then i tested it on my iphone6 plus 8.1, works fine....

modern combat 4,5, asphalt8, dh4 all works fine on ipad... what else can i test
