Don't know where to put this. But I have found a way to use crowns to instantly update buildings using the crown/resource hack. 

 

1. Make sure you have troops training. 

2. Simply instantly finish the building you want to upgrade using crowns.

3. Finish your troop upgrades instantly 

4. Start loading an attack on another base and before it loads quickly exit the game. 

When you go back in the building should be upgraded. Make sure you follow these steps quickly before the message pops up saying there is an internet connectivity problem.

This Makes no sense you are using crowns and the used crowns will not return back.
