see the thing is, im not using the "legit" version of NBA, mine is cracked so when i load VPN i can watch games, now if i load the game with out VPN i get the message "video unavailable right now and to try again later"

k so i download the UK version of NBA & when i log in it will say i have a subscription, force exit the app and remove it from multitasking and reload the app again (VPN still on to india) & its asking me to buy subscription, i tried loading the app with out VPN and same message.

What is your crack? or you mean you have used the patch together with a indian LP? isnt the patch useless now?

my "cracked" NBA got from XXXX, i can log in with my india subscription and the app works well with VPN, but if i use the legit NBA from UK (logged in with my india subscription with VPN on to india) it asks me to buy a subscription even tho going to settings and it says i have purchased a subscription

So I guess its almost confirmed that the NBA app will record your ip and keep it for a period of time. If you are "in India" in their record, you dont need VPN during that period of time to watch game even you quitted the app. And if you are not in India in their record, you wont be able to watch game even you turn on VPN in that period of time. But how long or short will they erase the old record and record new ip again is matter. Or simply login every time with a VPN should work fine for Indian LP, although sometime I just wanna see box score or schedule and dont want to turn on VPN.

When you use the hacked NBA app do you ever get the buy subscription message at all?  Also--when I have multiple streams going simultaneously (e.g., I'd be watching one game on my iPad while at the same time my buddy would be watching it (or a different game) on his iPhone), after a while either my buddy or me will get a popup message stating that the account is already in use; if I tap Cancel it'll stop the streaming but if i tap Continue it'll continue streaming but after a short while the same message will pop up again--this is with the legit current version UK NBA app (with no Flex); in the old days I could watch multiple simultaneous streams with the older version legit UK NBA app with Flex applied and not get that message.

So would you mind checking:  1) With the hacked NBA app and a legit India LP subscription do you ever get that "Buy Subscription" message at all (i.e., do you NEVER get that message?); and 2) With the hacked NBA app and legit India LP subscription, are you able to watch on multiple devices (iDevices and PC) simutaneously without getting the warning about your account currently being used to watch on multiple devices at the same time?

in your past experience, you said you are using flex patch and I think you are not subscripting the NBA LP and of course you can watch multiple games simultaneously as the NBA app is not collecting your NBA ac information. According to my knowledge, NBA LP allow you to watch one stream at a time per account, and therefore the pop up message should be normal case if you are now using indian LP. I did received pop up message when I was both watch on my iPad, iPhone and Mac. Some says you can still watch the game in multiple devices with same account, just press continues when you see the pop up. But I didnt try this part as im using the LP for myself only.

As for part 1 of your question, I am curious too, so versemode would you mind help checking? Because today I want testing the app and I found the following result,
1200 login without VPN -> "Buy subscription" Button, failed to watch
1210 login with VPN, same result as 1200
1300 Login with VPN and no change
1500 login with VPN, able to watch again

This somehow telling me that if your non-indian ip is recorded by the app, you will not be able to watch game even you turn on VPN within that 2-3 hours period. Thats why I said i have to turn on VPN to see box score if I am going to watch a game in the next few hours. Of course if you are not, seeing box score dont need a VPN.

using the hacked NBA i was logged in to 3 idevice  & PC (2 iphone & 1 ipad all non jailbroken) & i never got a pop message at all. My "legit" NBA doesn't allow me to watch any games logged in to my india subscription & VPN on. It will load the game but once i turn off VPN i get a black out message & video stops working.
