I have tried "ulimit -n 1024" and it didn't work. Please help.

Did you download the app from iTunes?

If downloaded from App Store on devices  with iOS 8.3+, there is a new feature called AppSlicing which makes binaries incomplete. Download from iTunes to fix this

I did use Itunes to download the app. So what shall I do now?

Try using "Rasticrac"  

Theres a tutorial on it, just try searchbar

or try ullimit -n 2048
