Still working for me but I'm having trouble figuring out the value for 5 stars, the best in able to accomplish is changing a 3 star to a 4 star by xoring by 7. Anybody know how to change a 3 or 4 star to 5?

it's pretty easy.  If it's a 3*, just Xor 6 then to turn it to 5*.  If it's a 4*, first, Xor 7 then =, immediately Xor 6.  It should turn to 5*.
