Help/Support SHSH Blob restore

So I'm going to restore, but was wondering, I know I can use Cydia Eraser to restore and stay on same IOS. But couldn't I just save my SHSH blob and restore through itunes?

You can't restore iOS 10.2 blobs anymore because it's not being signed anymore. If you did save them though, you can restore with prometheus. I had a problem with my iphone and I was lucky to have saved my blobs, and the restore worked.

You can only save your blobs when Apple is still signing the iOS version. They stopped signing for iOS 8.4 quite a while back. Your best bet is Cydia Eraser, but keep in mind after it's finished all your apps etc will be gone. In a way it's like a restore but you stay on your current iOS version.

Doubt you have the iOS 8.4 blob saved, so you can't downgrade. If you did, you could.
