Hello,
It's my first post here. I want to know more about ios and jailbreaking. I have iPhone 6 plus, iOS 8.2. Like title, I want to know should I update OS to 10.2.1 then jailbreak it or I just have to jailbreak it anyway without update anything. What's difference between iOS 8.2 and 10.2.1, and how it would affect the jailbreaking.

That's all, thank you. I'm curious about this, so I may have more question

ios 8 is more supported for tweaks and other stuff . Very little is compatible with iOS 10 JB .

so, ios 8 > ios 10...

then how about consenquences?

what would I face after jailbreaking?

did I would experiencing something like, iphone restarting, need to re-jailbreak few times, or etc?

Personally I wouldn't upgrade as Apple is only signing 10.2.1 and you can't jailbreak 10.2.1 as of yet. I've heard that the Yalu Jailbreak is unstable.

The difference i've notice in iOS 8.2 has the slide to unlock feature on the lock screen whilst 10.2.1 has the double tap home button on lock screen which I personally hate.

If you don't have any money for a backup then I wouldn't and would be a waste of time.

It's all upto you though.

Jailbreaking is pretty cool as you can do lots of stuff. Like in-app purchasing without actually buying stuff on certain apps.

No problem just don't upgrade as you can't jailbreak on the latest update yet.

You can only jailbreak on your current iOS version.
