Help/Support GDB/LLDB help when testing! pls

Hello, I’m hoping somebody could help me here.

So whenever I set a watchpoint, I find the offset, and then I want to test. The problem I’m having with testing in gdb and lldb, is that lets say I’m hacking ammo. Lets say I hack the right thing and I do this command in gdb: set *01111=0xE1111, for some reason, everytime I shoot the game stops . It doesn’t let me test at all. It just says breakpoint when I shoot. But I never set any breakpoints so I’m confused. I am trying to test within gdb or lldb and it always stops me saying breakpoint when I shoot. I never set any breakpoints.

Of course it stops that's how the debugger works you found the right offset. Put it in IDA

Ok I get it I think. Can you show me the breakpoint message it gives you? I'm guessing even when you watchpoint it, it breaks on a certain line of code in that specific variable

yeah i gott go home first nd get it. But the watchpoint works fine in Lldb, and I get the offset nd hack it, but then I when I try and test using set in gdb or mem wr in lldb, right when I shoot a bullet thr game stops saying something aboit breakpoint. I never set one though. So it doesnt let me see if its working
