General IOS 10.2 downgrade when apple stops signing

Hey everyone,

 

As I am pretty new to the jailbreak scene I just wondered if anyone has a guide or knows of the easiest way once apple stops signing IOS 10.2 that I would be able to downgrade in the future back to this IOS version.... I am jailbroken on IOS 10.2 currently and the SHSH blobs are saved and so is the IPW for 10.2....... What happens from here if my phone was ever to mess up and I needed it back to stock 10.2?

 

Just looking for the simplest way really if there is one?

If you have shsh blobs you can downgrade back to ios 10.2 using Prometheus tool

If that was the case, why would we even save shsh blobs?

Yea I know it will be possible but I thought the Prometheus method doesn't work for iOS 10 yet? Could be wrong though. Just wondered if someone could clarify if it does or not?
