im trying to do semi restore to my ipgone 4 ios 7.1.2 but it doesnt even do anything. app keep saying connecting to device and that sit. i try to open the apps on my phone and that doesnt work either. my phone is now pretty much useless and tips?

Why don't you put the phone in DFU mode then restore with iTunes?

no i cant use lock button any more

I think there are some tools which can kick you out of DFU mode but I can't remember them. Restoring via iTunes also gets you out of DFU mode.

Do you even have Open SSH installed ? Sometimes semi-restore detects your device, when you plug it out. There also could be a small angle of how "deep" you shove the cable in
