No, I mean it's not that bad to lose your jailbreak :p

I don't wanna restore it if it's just a hardware issue lol

Here about £20/60 providing they don't try and scam you on pre owned parts.

Ah not bad.

Don't give it to anyone, it's easy to steal your information if they have your harddrive. You'll get used to it, it's not that bad :3

Problem is if you take it to an "Apple Store" 1st thing they will do is update to iOS 10.

You need a little store that's not an Apple Store but is familiar with Apple Software , these will not update the device.

Doubt it's a software issue though lmao.

Before that incident, it was fine & would charge.

How much would it be if I did it from an Apple Store?

If you give it to Apple Store, You'll have to remove your jailbreak or they won't fix it. Also applies to your warranty if you have one

Jailbreak = Warranty termination

Nah I don't have any warranty. Bought it from eBay in December last year.

Oh :p

Shall I just charge it from my laptop, see if that works. If not, restore it via iTunes?

Costly , and for Apple to even look at it you need to remove the JB

That's all they will blame it on regardless of the incident , they will do some tests get it to boot then they will update it to iOS 10 to try and resolve the issue.

If that don't work depending on the device and the available support they will start replacing parts and you're bill gets higher and higher.

Bonus is if they don't think you're to blame and they can't fix it , you will receive a brand new iPhone.
