you can not bypass it , not anymore i used to work on ios 7.1.2 and  lower a few years ago  but nah you cant do it anymore .

 

1. next time you find a phone try to look for the owner.

2. if you cant find them try to see if there's a password on the phone if there's not then look through the contacts and try to find the owner.

3. if you cant find anything then just keep the phone because they will be no password on it and you couldn't find the owner.

Best thing to do is bring it to the apple store so they can give it back to the person that lost the iPhone.

Hey look at it this way. If the FBI can't unlock one, I doubt you will. Best thing you can do is go to an Apple store and see if they find the owner of the phone. Who knows. Maybe you'll get rewarded for find it?

I see thanks but where I live no Apple store and can't give the phone bk cause is screen lock so I can't see information. Also how about those web site that say give iem number some thing like can that work

Look at the cellular provider ( exemple : AT&T ) and give it to them. They'll be able to locate the owner.

I don't think so I will get reward is brokeen front and back some1 drop it really bad the screen shatter I was thinkimg to fix it to keep.if I put in dfu or recovery mode would that b able to factory reset all setting

No, if it's locked with iCloud, you won't be able to open the device ever if you make a hard recovery using DFU mode. Try to not be a thief and give it to the person who lost it.
