General Some questions about jailbreak

Hi,

 

Since this is the general talk, i hope i wont be posting in the wrong section.

 

I wish to know currently what is the best version to jailbreak my iphone at?

 

I went to jailbreak at 9.3.2 but there was no cydia(only a preview), I last jailbroke my phone during ios 8+ and all was good until i was forced to upgrade to ios 9 and above for some apps. Since then, i didn't had access to my cydia or flex2 etc.

 

So i was wondering if someone could shed some light as to which version has a jailbreak (untethered) and has a working cydia as to before.

I would suggest updating to 9.3.3 and Jailbreaking there using the tutorial link a bove ^.

Hi Dida, thanks for the quick reply. I saw that thread but it was mentioned it was tethered, I wouldnt like to be outside and my phone rebooted and i'll be helpless then.

 

So to say, currently there isn't any untethered jailbreaks as of now right? I would probably need to wait till someone releases it.

It is semi-tethered. You don't need your PC at all. All you need is the Pangu app you will install.

Ok great, i will try it out now. one last question, since im already on 9.3.2 jailbreak, can i just run this tool? or do i need to upgrade to 9.3.3 first? How can i just upgrade to 9.3.3 as when i go through itunes it only allows me to upgrade to 9.3.4

Download the IPSW from ipsw.me and then on iTunes, hold SHIFT and click restore then select your IPSW.

ah ok, i was hoping to avoid that step as backing up my data takes really way too long on my pc.. thanks alot for your help
