These accounts are cracked. VPN is used for protecting you and being able to access Netflix/Hulu and others if you're not from the U.S or other countries where their service is provided.

This might be an obvious question, but it is always on my mind and I don't want to mess anything up:

Is using an IP changer (anonymox, firefox addon) on the computer the same thing as a VPN app on ios device?

Yes. As long as you're not using your real IP when using these accounts you should be ok.

 

Not that anything should happen even if you don't use a VPN but better safe than sorry.
