What Are Action Files?

They are recorded steps of someone making a project, which can be saved and re-used and shared

 

REQ:

Language: English

Image Mode: RGB / 8-bit

 

 

 

How to use?

 

1. Make New Document.

 

2. Leave the background layer untouched.

 

3. Make a new text layer by selecting the Text tool (Press "T" on Keyboard)

and clicking anywhere on canvas and type whatever you want.

 

 

5. BUT MAKE SURE YOU: Double click the text layer and rename it exactly to "text".

 

6. Now click [Window>Actions]

 

7. Click the [=] looking button on the top right of the new window that pops-up

 

8. Select "Load Action", and a browser should open asking you to open a .ATN file.

9. Select the [>] button next to the "Sight Test" Folder (inside the actions window);

Then click on "Click Me and Click Play"

and click the play button at the bottom of the actions window
