Ingredients

Photoshop CC

Growlithe Render (I chose the first one I found on Google Images)

Red/Sunset Background (preferably mountainous)

A good fractal (I literally chose mine last second, so you can do better)

Any font (I decided with that one because I didn't know a suitable font for Growlithe)

30-45 minutes of your time (50+ if you're a beginner, or if you want to fix up the smudging)

 

In honor of Pokemon GO, I decided to make my own Pokemon-themed signature. Unfortunately, I could not find a good render of Articuno (the Team Mystic mascot), so I had to go for Growlithe (because, I dare say, he is simply majestic).

 

I actually did not know how to start off the signature at first. I tried making an exposure sig, but then I tried going for a smudge (until I realized there wasn't enough space for a smudging sig). You'll notice that I actually kept some of the smudging in the background and sharpened it (I went crazy with the Smart Sharpen tool for this signature, my mistake).

 

The usual signature: a vignette for depth, a blurred background for render-focusing, some text (accompanied by mini-text), and a render.
