Hi! I was just sending money to my friend and when she confirmed the purchase, it kept saying 56 usd pending at the bottom of the amount of money she had. We both have unverified paypal accounts? Can someone explain this to me? I can't find anything on PayPal help

Maybe because your accounts are "unverified"?

no I actually found it, it was buyer protection. I'm just wondering how she can confirm she's happy with the item for her to recieve the money?

You'll get your money after 20days

I could've sworn that it takes several days before she can use the money or something like that. Might be wrong though. Best option is for both of you to confirm your accounts. It'll make transactions a lot easier.

okay, I'll do that but before I get verified, if someone sent you money as a family friend, do you need a credit card linked to it to get the money or?

You shouldn't need it. You can always contact their support to make sure. :p

You will get it, dont worry

PayPal has protection where the money won't appear on the users PP so if there was any error in the payment, u can get it back easily

I think u used 'Pay for Goods'
