I've plugged my phone into my laptop using a USB cable and it turns on with the white background and black Apple logo, then turns off and this keeps happening over and over and it's pissing me off...

Take it to the Apple Store

Restart your PC and try connecting it to a different USB port,

 

There are possibly 2 reasons:

 

1) the data cable is broken

 

2) output power from your PC to your device is not enough and causing your iphone turning off without power.

While connected to PC boot in restore mode

and "re-install" the iOS as you can't jailbreak so ftw

Try plugging it into a wall outlet instead of your computer, maybe your computers power is insufficient
