Help/Support What is the best way to learn coding

So I really want to learn but don't know where to start, basically i just want to be able to make programs, such as; games,apps, and etc. help me achieve my goal and its to be like chuck

University, college, or YouTube.

To make good games and applications etc.. You should be learning code languages such as C#. C++, Ruby On Rails.

To make stuff for iOS devices you need to learn X-Code and Objective-C + C#.

Ruby On Rails is an Application Development coding language.

You can also try using Perl 4.2 but... Perl is really old and could be hard to learn.

tried youtube it was long and boring.

tried online its called code school it wasn't what i expected

tried apps teaching code it was nothing but math

I'm a Senior Game Programmer, have been coding games for almost 5 years...

Code is boring, to learn and really boring to essentially do... It's only good if you can play around with it.

Their is a phrase in life you should think about and learn "Everything starts of shit but get's better".

Well my friend, a lot of coders (including some of my buddies) learned code like C++ and Java by reading a book or two. YouTube normally doesn't give a very good education platform...so as college or university if you lack the money.

If you plan to do small personal projects or medium group ones go with online courses or a book from the library.

Anything bigger such as things you plan to make a living off consider going to university or getting a personal teacher.

Pro tip: coding isn't something you learn in 5min, it's EXACTLY like learning another language, it takes a week for some to master, longer for others. It all depends on the student.

Well it's true isn't it.

You have to start from the beggining to essentially get to the fun part... and as we all know... the beggining is rubbish and boring and slow. Only after you grasp it and pass that part of life is it more fun and enjoyable.
