Help/Support iOS 8 Ipod 5 Bricked

My jailbroken ipod 5 on iOS 8 has been bricked after I tried to reset it for my sisters birthday tonight. Are there any quick tools I can use to unbrick it before my parents murder me?

Yea and when it dies and I turn it on it stays on the apple logo

ok plug your phone in on itunes. you will have to either use a restroe you  made or loose your jailbreak and your phone survives. HPut phone in DFU mode by holing power button for few seconds then hold power and home button for few seconds then let go of the power button while still holding home button( this is a combination dont let go of any buttons in process) then itunes should pick up your ipod in DFU mod then restore
