HELP! What should i make for MiniProject?

    I told the project incharge that i will make a mini project on Mobile Substrate hacking, he said that he doesn't knows what it is and just wanted that it should be full of coding and even told me 'What if someone claims it to be illegal?"

    I seriously don't know what should i do, hooking functions and overriding them is just a small piece of code. I need to find an app which has a lot of exploits so that i can make mobile susbtrate hack and link it to preference bundle..Please can anyone help me out? At Least give me suggestion, is mobile substrate hacking okay? and why should i go for it? Because the project incharge asked me what's the advantage of mobile susbtrate hacking and i was like *rolls eyes*..Other people are just copying and pasting source code for database related apps like student management system and stuff like that. I want to work on iOS. :(

    If you want complex, learn IDA. A tut has been made by @shmoo about a day or two days ago.

    i do know about IDA, yep it's good but will it be good for a mini project? I mean will they find it  challenging ? I do need to tell them from scratch during presentation how IDA works ? right? and setting breakpoints ? it will take 10 minutes i guess to make a hack in front of them or should i keep it ready and present it to them and tell them how it was made overall?

    Also you can scratch off the illegal part by claiming it's for "educational purposes" and "reported" to the game devs- all lies but they get you out of legal issues
