Help/Support [Question] How to keep game app from going to Gamevil (The Hive) in order to play

This may be an easy question but I am having a difficult time trying to figure it out.

I installed the game "Darkness Reborn" and on the initial install it gave me an option to use my iPad for saved games or use "The Hive". I selected to use "The Hive" (Gameevil gaming site) not knowing that it will take it over.

Unfortunately that directs the boot process to "The Hive" and I must type in a username and password into their site in order to boot the game.

I do not want to be on there site or have them control when I play the game.

So I thought I would delete the app and re-install it. I also went to the Gamevil site and removed my account from them.

But of course now, when I boot the game it doesn't give me the option to choose to use my iPad, it just goes directly to the Hive and request me to input my name and password.  Of course now I do not have an account with them so I can't even play the game.

Am I screwed?  I know that you guys are all smarter than me in this kind of thing so I am hoping that someone knows what I can do........

This is strange. Reinstalling the game should reset all the options back to stock.

That's what I thought; if you have any suggestions I would be happy to try them out.
