Help/Support Thinning Binary help

Hi,

 

I'm currently on iPhone 6S Plus iOS 9.0.2 Jailbreak.

 

Yesterday I downloaded the Soul Seekers .deb file. Upon installing it, the game starts with a black screen and crashes. Some other users also reported this happening. From reading the comments DiDA suggested to try thinning the binary in order to get it to work.

I followed the topics that he linked, by downloading all necessary programs. But to no avail, I tried both Clutch2 and Rasticrac.

 

With Clutch I managed to get it to dump the ipa into Payload. However, when trying to thin the binary file I get this error:

 

I also tried thinning it via http://armconverter.com/binarytools/ but that also failed.

 

Next I tried Rasticrac:

 

Dumping seemed successful:

 

And the binary seemed to thin successfully, however after replacing the binary the game still crashed. 

 

I deleted the app, installed again from iTunes, ran the game to update all the files then exited. I reloaded Rasticrac to try once more but got presented with this error:

 

 

I'm not sure how to resolve this issue. Any other suggestions are welcome. 

 

Also, is it possible if someone else who uses this app and the .deb thins their binary and then I use their thinned version?

Your issue is iOS 9. You are forced to download the app from iTunes since downloading from the App Store will only have one portion your device needs. In your case, the binary only has ARM64 so there is nothing to thin.

 

Download the IPA using iTunes, install it on your device, crack it and run the binary in Binary Tools Online.

 

But, I doubt the issue you're getting has to do with thinning the binary. It's worth a shot!

My questions were: Does anyone have any other suggestions about resolving the issue of getting a black screen after applying the .deb.

And, if someone else who runs the game thins their binary, is it possible for me to use that version.

Re-cracked with Clutch, Rasticrac still gives me the "empty RastDecryted" error, so unable to try that version. However, I uploaded the Clutch binary file to Binary Tools Online and it also gave an error. 

 

 

Guess I'm not destined to use this hack, oh well best play the game properly.

Some apps don't have x32 partition so unless you're using an iPhone 5 or older you don't have to care about it
