How would I get gdb? And also do I need to hook my device up to my computer when hacking sub x games or no?

Get GDB from radare's repo, http://cydia.radare.org

You don't necessarily need to connect your device to your computer when hacking subx

You need IDA to hack since GDB will give you Ida offset

my usb ports dont work on laptop bruh
