Yes this is well spoken and very true, but if i want a free tweak im getting a free tweak, if i want a movie i will pirate it, if i want music i will pirate it. Who pays for stuff these days..

lots of hard working people pay for things because they earned it, if you feel like you should getting everything for free, you are a negative impact in this world

however, i do download paid tweaks for free, but i do not feel like i should pirate everything you can get for free, there are things you can do to support these hard workers, but instead you choose not to

i spent 10 years of my life buying stuff before learning how to pirate.

The jailbreak community is like the Call of Duty community. Most users are underage people who have a lot of free time and like to tinker with their iDevice. And being underage, they also do not have access to a Credit Card or a PayPal account which would explain why piracy on iOS is high. But then again, there's pirates on every platform and everywhere else. Developers would just need to secure their tweaks even more (Damn you Saurik for the latest Cydia Substrate update ) so they won't get cracked. Take a look at the famous "Just Cause 3" game. It completely stunned the crackers and hasn't been cracked so far.

Also, most (or some. I haven't done any statistics) Jailbreak developers are "underage" themselves. Some are still in school and developing Cydia tweaks is like a hobby for them. Some also use the money they receive from the tweaks to pay for their school, medical expenses or to simply support their families.
