Many iTunes users have encountered a very common problem - the message “error 53”, which can appear during program installation or while the program is running. 1. Corrupt download or incomplete installation of iTunes software.

2. Corruption in Windows registry from a recent iTunes-related software change (install or uninstall).

3. Virus or malware infection that has corrupted Windows system files or iTunes-related program files.

4. Another program maliciously or mistakenly deleted iTunes-related files.
