No how do I do that ? I'm still in the learning process of all this and I've read 20+ tutorials but I have never read anything about setting permissions

In Filza, select the binary by clicking on edit > More > Properties > Set it as 0755.

 

Or if it's already 0755, then you hacked the wrong offset.

Also as far as registers go I run across a lot of (X) instead of the regular ®I'm use to .. Can someone explain the difference if there is one ? I'm getting more into iOS than android because that's where I started

 

Here's an example

 

MOV X29, X1

 

Vs what I'm use to dealing with which is

 

MOV. R10, R1

Those X Registers are ARM64 Registers

R Registers are ARMv7

It might just be that you're not editing the correct function.

Screenshots could be nice, but that's just my two sense.
