Help/Support Lost SSH Password. How to reset it?

So basically when i connected my ipad to ifunbox.. it set to random password and i forgot to save it

 

so anyway to remove or change the pass?

You can also login as 

 

user: mobile

pass: alpine

 

But to reset your root password go to /private/etc/ using iFile or iFunBox and scroll down till you see the "master.passwd" file. Edit it as a text file and change the current root:/xxxx part you have, to this:

root:/smx7MYTQIi2M

 (Case sensitive)

 

 

Save the file and transfer it back to where it was and now your password will now be back to alpine. @@ZahirSher

Open iFunbox, choose Settings tab -> Choose Show OpenSSH Password

It would be better if you tried the solution Laxus posted because changing the master.passwd file can lead you into a bootloop.
