Laptop overheats and makes much noise.. it's only few months old..

    Hey guys, so i've had this laptop for like 3-4 months. It's my school computer, and as far as i know, it has pretty good specs. Classmates can run skyrim on this smoothly, but i can barely use it.. everytime on launch, it takes less than a minute, and it sounds like my pc is about to blow up.. ._. I may have had a few viruses, and overran the pc a few times, but idk if its a way to fix this from the computer? Or do i have to replace something? if yes, what? :p

     

    My pc gets overheated very easy, and it takes as much as only loading a site before my pc fan makes seriously much noise.. :/

     

    Any help? I may go to the School pc / tech reparation service, but they need a proper explanation on how this has happened lol. Saying i have overrun it wont help very much, so i consider that as the last resort.

     

    Thanks guys, any help is appreciated. I need help, because having my laptop on my lap is uncomfortable, because it's too hot -_- And its my freaking school computer! i need to have it for another 2 and a half years xD

    Well, first of all, replacing parts on a laptop isn't a great idea. You could make a backup of anything you want to keep, and do a factory reset. If it still overheats quickly, something's wrong with the hardware.

    If hardware is the problem, there is no other choice than sending it to repair.

    You should try a factory reset first, though.

    And yeah, not so sure about the warranty. Only condition they'll fix it for free, is if i havent done a thing to affect the outcome ._.
