🆕 iGameGod 0.8.8 Update! Rebuilt Speed Manager, New File Manager, Faster Memory Engine & More!

Hello everyone! 👋

We're back with another major iGameGod update!

A few months ago, we introduced the iGameGod 0.6.x updates with several major new features. Now we're back with iGameGod 0.8.8, bringing together 167 additional changes introduced across the 0.7.x and 0.8.x releases!

This update includes easier-to-use tools, faster searches, improved game compatibility, major interface refinements, and several powerful new features for developers and advanced users.

Rather than listing every smaller point release separately, we've grouped the important changes by feature so they're easier to understand.

Here's everything that's new:

What's New in iGameGod 0.8.8?

Auto Touch & Interface Improvements: Better positioning, resizing, touch indicators, iPad support, and overall in-game usability.
Rebuilt Speed Manager: Improved support for more games, with an Automatic mode that selects the recommended speed method for you.
New File Manager: Browse, edit, back up and restore files belonging to the game you're currently using.
Faster Memory Engine: Faster searches, improved large-result handling, more search options, and better favorites.
Profile Export & Import: Back up your settings and patches, move them between devices, or share them with other users.
Improved iGameGod App: Better tweak management, package importing, app selection, and troubleshooting.
Improved Compatibility: Better support for iOS 26, iOS 27, sideloaded apps, and all major jailbreak types.
Live Offset Patcher: Create, test and apply offset patches while an app is running.
Improved Disassembler: Browse app code, search methods, follow branches, and view assembly, hex, and generated pseudo-code.
Better Watchpoints: See what code reads or changes a value, complete with stack traces, registers, and recognized IL2CPP method names.
Expanded Unity Tools: Search IL2CPP methods and generate metadata, method, and runtime dumps.

Auto Touch & In-Game Interface Improvements

The in-game interface used by Auto Touch and every other iGameGod tool received a large number of fixes and visual improvements.

Better Screen Positioning: The floating iGameGod icon now behaves more reliably around notches, display cutouts and sensor housings.
Safe-Area Support: The interface respects the edges of the screen and reserves space for the Home Indicator.
Improved Touch Indicators: Touch indicators and supported tool icons have been updated for a cleaner, more native appearance.
Automatic Icon Hiding: The floating launcher hides while the tool menu or another iGameGod window is open.
Better Dragging & Resizing: Tool windows remain within the visible screen and preserve their position more accurately while resizing.
Improved iPad Support: iGameGod windows now work more naturally inside supported apps on iPad.
Orientation Fixes: Tool windows behave more consistently when the device orientation changes.
Better Keyboard Handling: The keyboard can be dismissed more reliably from popups.
Refreshed Visuals: Dynamic colors, notification messages, buttons, and tool icons have received additional polish.

Speed Manager Rebuilt

The Speed Manager has been rebuilt to support more games and make choosing the correct speed method much easier.

The new Automatic mode is recommended for most users. It attempts to detect the game you're using and select the most suitable timing method for you (see screenshot above).

You can use Automatic mode or manually choose from five different timing engines:

Automatic: Recommended option that selects the most suitable method for the current game.
Unity: Designed for supported Unity games.
Wall Clock: Designed for games using system time.
Monotonic Clock: Designed for native monotonic timers.
Mach Time: Designed for low-level Mach timing.
SpriteKit: Designed for SpriteKit games.

If Automatic mode does not work correctly for a particular game, you can manually try the other available methods.

Supported Unity games now adjust their internal game speed directly through iGameGod's Unity integration, improving Speed Manager compatibility with more Unity titles.

New In-Game File Manager

The new File Manager lets you browse and manage files belonging to the app or game you're currently using without leaving it.

Browse Game Files: Navigate through the game's available folders and files.
Edit Supported Files: Open and modify supported text-based files directly inside iGameGod.
Hex View: Inspect supported files at the byte level when a normal text view is not suitable.
Create Backups: Save a copy of an important file before making changes.
Restore Files: Restore a previous backup if you need to undo your changes.

This is useful for editing configuration files, inspecting game data, and safely testing file changes. We've also created a dedicated iGameGod File Manager topic where you can learn more about the feature.

Faster Memory Engine

The iGameGod Memory Engine received several performance and usability improvements, especially when working with large searches.

Faster Searches: Memory searches now complete more quickly.
Search Range Presets: Choose from common memory ranges using a simple segmented picker.
Custom Search Ranges: Enter your own range when the built-in options are not suitable.
More Encoding Options: Search using int8 through int64, uint8 through uint64, float, double, and UTF-8.
Automatic Encoding Detection: iGameGod can select a suitable encoding when starting a search.
Better Large Search Handling: Large result sets are stored and loaded more efficiently.
Smoother Scrolling: Large result lists update more steadily while you browse them.
Clearer Search Progress: Search progress and result counts are easier to understand.
Batch Editing: Select and modify multiple results together.
Improved Favorites: Saved addresses now provide clearer information about whether they will remain available after app re-launch.
Favorite Navigation: Jump directly to memory locations saved in your favorites.
Automatic Cleanup: Unfinished or abandoned search data is removed automatically when iGameGod launches.

Profile Export & Import

You can now export your iGameGod setup and import it on another device.

Back Up Your Setup: Export your settings, patches, and supported tool configuration.
Move Between Devices: Import your profile on another device without manually recreating everything.
Share Profiles: Share useful setups and patches with other Community members.
DIY Sharing: Exported profiles can be shared through the DIY section.

iGameGod Jailbreak App Improvements

The main iGameGod app has also received important improvements to tweak management, importing, app selection, and troubleshooting. We've also given it a visual refresh to celebrate the new Dopamine Jailbreak release!

Better Tweak Management: Manage imported and installed tweaks more easily.
Update Existing Tweaks: Importing a newer version of an existing .deb now updates it instead of refusing the import.
Selections Are Remembered: Apps previously selected for a tweak remain selected after the tweak is updated.
Safer New Imports: New tweak imports now require you to choose which apps should use them.
Replace Missing Tweaks: Tweak entries whose original files are missing can now be replaced.
Automatic File Repair: Imported tweak files are repaired and signed automatically when needed.
RootHide Import Fixes: Importing tweaks in RootHide environments is more reliable.
Improved Sideload Detection: iGameGod can better recognize when it is running inside a sideloaded app.
Simplified App Selection: Selecting apps no longer depends on a privileged helper.
Improved Built-In Tools: Better integration for iGDecrypt, iGSpoof, and Install Package.
Framework Version: The installed iGameGod framework version is now shown inside the app.
Useful Error Messages: Loader failures now explain what went wrong instead of failing silently.

Compatibility & Reliability

A large amount of work also went into making iGameGod launch and work more reliably across different devices, apps, and installation methods. If a sideloaded app crashes or gets stuck during launch, injecting iGameGod may also resolve certain compatibility issues.

iOS 26 & 27 Support: iGameGod has been updated to work correctly with newer iOS compatibility checks.
Sideloaded App Support: Improved startup, resource loading and environment detection.
Automatic Crash Recovery: If a compatibility option causes an app to crash during launch, iGameGod can progressively disable riskier options instead of allowing the app to repeatedly fail.
Better App Compatibility: Expanded fixes for apps using Game Center, StoreKit, CloudKit, Keychain, and different file or Bundle ID configurations.
Safer Startup: Some compatibility changes are now applied after the app has finished launching.

Live Offset Patcher

The new Live Offset Patcher makes it easier to create, test and manage offset patches while an app or game is running.

Instead of rebuilding or reinstalling an app every time you want to test a change, you can apply supported patches directly from inside iGameGod.

Apply Patches Live: Test supported offset changes while the app is still running.
Beginner-Friendly Patch Builder: Create patches through a guided interface instead of preparing everything manually.
Clear Confirmation Prompts: Important patching actions now display native confirmation alerts.
Save Your Patches: Keep your patches as part of your iGameGod profile.
Share with Other Users: Export patches and share them with the Community, including through the DIY section.

Improved iGDisassembler

The iGameGod Disassembler has received a major visual and functional upgrade, making it easier to browse and understand app code directly on your device (see screenshots above).

Browse Loaded Libraries: Select and inspect libraries currently being used by the app.
Cleaner Function Layout: Functions are now separated into clearer visual blocks.
Function Focus View: Tap a function title to open a dedicated page showing its assembly code, hex bytes, and generated pseudo-code.
Search Methods: Quickly search for methods without manually browsing through every function.
Follow Branches: Tap supported branch instructions to jump directly to their destination.
IL2CPP Method Names: When a branch points to a recognized Unity method, its name is displayed instead of only showing a raw address.
Comments: Add your own notes alongside important instructions.
Bookmarks: Save useful locations so you can quickly return to them later.
Faster Repeat Browsing: Frequently used symbols are saved to improve loading and navigation.

Watchpoints & iGDebugger Improvements

Watchpoints help you find out what part of an app reads or changes a particular value.

They now provide much more useful information whenever memory access is detected.

Read & Write Options: Configure a Watchpoint for read and write access, read-only access, or write-only access.
Detailed Results: Open a full information page for each triggered Watchpoint.
Stack Traces: View the sequence of functions involved when the value was accessed.
IL2CPP Method Names: Recognized Unity methods are shown by name inside the stack trace.
Register Information: Inspect the CPU register values captured when the Watchpoint was triggered.
Library Offsets: Addresses are also displayed relative to their loaded library where possible.
Improved Reliability: Read detection and hardware Watchpoint handling have been fixed and improved.

Unity & IL2CPP Tools

iGameGod's Unity and IL2CPP tools have been expanded for users researching or modifying supported Unity games.

IL2CPP Method Search: Search for recognized Unity methods directly inside iGameGod.
Decrypted Metadata Dump: Export decrypted metadata from supported Unity apps.
Runtime dump.cs: Generate an IL2CPP source-style dump from the running app.
Method Parameter Information: View more information about supported methods and their parameters.
Named Stack Traces: Watchpoint stack traces can display recognized IL2CPP method names instead of only raw addresses.

To install or update iGameGod on a jailbroken device, add the official iOSGods Repo to Sileo, Zebra, Cydia, or your preferred package manager:

Final Notes

While the new tools are a major part of this update, a lot of work also went into making iGameGod faster, easier to use and more reliable across different apps, devices, and installation methods.
