Note: You no longer have to go through these steps. Cydia can now be easily installed through the Pangu app on your Home Screen or the Pangu tools on your PC. http://iosgods.com/topic/2167-tutorial-how-to-jailbreak-ios-8x-81x-using-pangu8/

Requirements:
- A file explorer
- A terminal
- OpenSSH (install it from the Pangu app http://i.imgur.com/6r2Jms6.png)
- iDevice Jailbroken (How to Jailbreak tutorial can be found here: http://iosgods.com/topic/2167-tutorial-how-to-jailbreak-ios-8x-81x-using-pangu8/)

Note: The easiest way to install Cydia on iOS 8 is by placing the .debs in /var/root/Media/AutoInstall/ (if the folder does not exist, create it) and rebooting your iDevice using the "reboot" command in Terminal but there's no fun in that so I'll explain it how to do it the hard way. :p

1. You will need to download WinSCP or Cyberduck (or any other similar program) to be able to SFTP into your iDevice and install Cydia.

Note: I will be using WinSCP in this tutorial.

2. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> WIFINAME -> And get the Wifi's IP Address.

3. Open WinSCP and enter the Wi-Fi address you got from your iDevice's settings and enter "root" for the username and "alpine" for the password.

4. If you get this popup windows simply click on yes.

5. You will now be inside your iDevice in the /var/root/ folder.

6. Now download Cydia and Cydia's dependency lproj from here:

cydia-lproj_1.1.12_iphoneos-arm.deb: http://apt.saurik.com/cydia/debs/cydia-lproj_1.1.12_iphoneos-arm.deb

cydia_1.1.13_iphoneos-arm.deb: http://apt.saurik.com/cydia/debs/cydia_1.1.13_iphoneos-arm.deb

7. Download them both and copy them to your /var/root/ folder on the WinSCP window via Drag & drop or browse to where you saved the .deb files.

8. Now open the terminal by clicking the little terminal icon or by pressing CTRL+T on your keyboard. r60pdag.png

9. Inside the Terminal/Console, type in: dpkg -i *.deb and hit the Execute button.

Note: If the above command does not install Cydia, try this command instead: dpkg --install --force-depends *.deb

Note 2: If your WinSCP Console gets stuck on installing Cydia for some hours, reboot your iDevice and see if the new Cydia icon appears on your Home Screen and if it doesn't, uninstall the "Cydia Installer" package from within the Pangu app and retry the above command using PuTTy or Kitty Terminal this time.

10. Restart your iDevice by typing in "Reboot" in your Terminal/Console and open the new Cydia icon from your Homescreen!

You can also do this using Cyberduck & PuTTy terminal. :)

Hey! It's @FuroowHD:D Open the spoiler to fix your problems with installing Cydia ^^

So cydia didn't show up for me or crashed or just wasn't installed.

Well what you have to do is:

1. if cydia is installed but crashing or not showing up:
- go to pangu app and delete cydia installer and translations
- now reboot ur device from 25pp (go to the "..." place and press the reboot/respring sign, it's a green button.)
- now after your phone is on move the 2 cydia files to /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstaller. (if u dont have some folders you have to make them!)
- now open putty or kitty or whatever... and connect and install using this command: dpkg --install --force-depends *.deb
- now reboot using 25pp again same green button.
This will work :D enjoy.

2. if cydia doesn't install

- move the 2 cydia files to /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstaller. (if u dont have some folders you have to make them!)
- now open putty or kitty or whatever... and connect and install using this command: dpkg --install --force-depends *.deb
- now reboot using 25pp again same green button.
This will work :D enjoy.

If it still won't work, give this a try: http://iosgods.com/topic/2168-tutorial-how-to-install-cydia-on-ios-8xx-using-the-pangu8-jailbreak/?p=28140

I've followed step by step your tuto, but still don't have cydia icon after reboot.

Can you open the Pangu app -> Manager -> Remove and see if Cydia Installer Package is there?
