TuT [Tutorial] How to Jailbreak iOS 8.0.x - 8.1 using Pangu8! [ENGLISH]

Requirements:
- Your Device.
- A USB Cable
- Pangu Tool
- 10 minutes of your time
 
Pangu supports the following devices running iOS 8:

 
 
Tutorial:
1. Before we begin, make sure you have the latest iTunes version installed on your PC and make a full backup of your iDevice using iTunes just in case something goes wrong. If you have updated to iOS 8 OTA (Over The Air), you should restore to the latest iOS 8 version using iTunes. OTA updates may cause the Jailbreak to fail.
 
2. You need to turn off Passcode Lock from Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock On -> Turn Passcode Off and disable Find My iPhone from Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone.
 
3. Once you've done the above steps, download the official Pangu tool from their page: http://en.pangu.io/
 
4. Connect your Device to your computer and open the Pangu8 tool as Administrator. Make sure the iTunes app is not running.

 
5. You will be presented with this screen.

 
6. You can choose to install the 25pp app or not by ticking or unticking the option. The 25pp app is no more on v1.1.0+.
 
 
7. To begin the Jailbreak, click the centered blue button which reads "Start Jailbreak" and click "Already Did" on the next screen (read the next screens instructions also)

 
8. Wait while your device is in the process of Jailbreaking.

 
9. You'll see that your device tells you there’s a Jailbreak in progress. The entire process should take around 5 to 10 minutes.
 
10. After your iDevice reboots back into your home screen. Open the new "pangunew" app on your home screen and tap on "Trust" on the popup. This will reboot your phone one more time. The newest version of Pangu does not require opening any app. Your iDevice will reboot only once and you're Jailbroken!
 
11. After the jailbreak process completes, you’ll see the Cydia app on your device. This confirms that your device is jailbroken.

not sure if it worked but went into setting and a developer tab is on it it has a hammer and its blue but no pangunew or anything

If you have no Pangu app on your home screen, you're not Jailbroken.

I'll try again, I did a restore on my computer for iOS 8.1 and disabled Find my iPhone and Touch ID

Awesome! I think I'll wait a few and see how long the ez mode that installs cydia takes to come out while all the devs upgrade the tweaks!  Great post :thumbsup:
