Yoo guys!

I've been trying to open .dat files for so long, but what I find with google is something I don't understand, so why not asking here?

I thought I did read .dat is a database file and is coded or something, and it can be in diffrent ways. well, I didn't understand all these google crap lol.

any guy here knows how?

Example file I wanna read: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fviwuks912s0sv9/BikeRaceSPBR_3_0.dat?dl=0

Help would be awesome!

Follow these steps:

1. Download Filza from Cydia

2. Once downloaded, locate your .dat file and do the following.

3. Click "Edit" > (You're .dat file) > "More" > "Open With" > "Text Editor"

4. Now it should be all in text.

Here is an example of a .dat file hack I made if it helps you > http://iosgods.com/topic/17883-case-clicker-v175-any-gun-ifilefilza/page-1

Reply if you have any problems :)

So, isn't that the same thing as you said.

You said that the file is showing random text because it's a dat file.

I said it's showing random text because it's encrypted.

Do you get what I'm trying to say?

You can open .dat files using any text editor but that doesn't mean you can modify them using any text editor. Depends on the file.

You should look into Hex Editing. There's a pinned tutorial in Tutorials section.
