Help/Support Need Someone to test hack

Ok. Got that to work on my mac. I'm going to post another question in a minute@@DiDA Where would I put the .plist file thats hacked in the folder I made with DEBIAN and Application directories? I know it goes in applications somewhere

Just do this

 

Make a yourepo account (link http://www.yourepo.com)

Then get the .plist and make it a .zip

Then upload your .zip in dropbox

Then upload it in your yourepo

I'm not sure if the package is even downloadable because it won't let me make it public

@@DiDA I am also not sure if the package will even work, but I might be able to test it on an ancient iPod or get someone to test it

@@DiDA I can't make it public, but the yourepo shouldn't be a problem because I drop boxed it anyways. It won't install to the correct location though. Any fixes?

@@DiDA I have no clue, just compressed the plist into a zip and uploaded it to yourepo. Then I downloaded it. I think I might have to do something else that I'm working on now

The way you've packaged the deb won't apply the hack in the right location.
