TuT [Tutorial] Flex Tutorial: How to hack and what I should do? Check here

Okay, a member, @Karan malhi asked me to make a Flex tutorial and i accepted so here it is

 

You need all of the following,

- Flex or Flex 2 from Cydia

- Jailbroken Device

- Flex-hackable app/game (Not IDA/iGG/Gameplayer/GameGem/String type game)

 

I will use this game, Dawn of Magic, as an example for this tutorial.

Okay, this is an old game. Last time it was updated, which is on May 17, 2012.

 

Let's get it started!

 

1. Open app/game

2. Play for few minutes or so. Once you figure out what it have then write it down or something.

3. Press home button

4. Open Flex or Flex 2

5. You may see that it is empty (if you use flex for first time)

6. Tap on the plus sign, + on the top right of the screen.

7. Scroll from down to up to find the app you are looking for.

            Alternative way, you can search the name.

8. It will create the app's patch

9. Tap on "Add units..." (Its right below of the "'Name of the App' Patch"

10. Tap on "'Name of App'" which it will pop up " 'Unprocessed' 'The executable 'Name of the App' hasn't been processed yet, process it now?' "

11. Tap on 'Process'  (It may takes about few seconds to few minutes depending on the app)

12. Tap on the "'Name of App'" again

13. You will see many Obj-C Classes

14. a. You can scroll down to search for the class that may holds the content that you are looking for.

      b. Or you search for something like "attack, atk, defense, health, gold, coin etc..."

15. If you find something related to it, tap on it. So do it till you cannot find any more.

16. Tap back twice. It will take you to the "'Name of the App' Patch" screen, this time with methods that you had tapped on.

17. Tap on the method.

18. You will see its content, tap on the "Return Value"

19. Tap on the "Override Value"

20. It will pop up as "Number, pass-through etc"

       If the method is -(int) then tap on number, and type 999,999,999 or any number you want.

       If the method is -(Bool)/-(bool) then tap on "TRUE or FALSE"

    

21. After you complete it, now go back to Flex's home screen.

22. Tap on the "light check button" on the right side of the screen, right next to "'Name of the App' Patch"

      Blue check button = on

      Light blueish-gray button = off

  

22. Press Home button

23. Open app and check if it is working as what you wanted to.

24. You just created Flex patch!

 

 

Psst, its not over yet... If you wanted to show off your hack.
