The Updated ARMConverter 3.0! Decrypted App Store & ARM ↔ Hex Converter!

Hello everyone!

We have some exciting news to share today about one of the most famous websites related to iOSGods! No, it’s not the iOSGods App, but ARMConverter.com! We’ve given it a major facelift, and we’re calling it version 3.0!

 

⏮️ Some Backstory

The initial version of ARMConverter, released around 2015, was exactly what its name suggests—a simple tool to convert ARM instructions to hex, but not vice versa! Hex-to-ARM conversion was introduced a bit later.

Since that initial release, we’ve added many additional tools (Binary Tools, CPLoader, AppInfo, etc.), making it extremely useful for iOSGods and reverse engineers across the internet to the point where we had to improve upon its shortcomings, which led to ARMConverter 2.0!

ARMConverter 2.0 was launched in 2020 and was a major upgrade. We completely rebuilt the site from scratch using modern technologies and a refined user interface. We also removed outdated tools and simplified the website to make room for the Decrypted App Store—the first-ever fully automated iOS Decrypted IPA store!

All of these updates and changes have now led us to the latest 3.0 update.

 

🆕 What’s New in ARMConverter 3.0?

With this 3.0 update, we mainly focused on the Decrypted App Store features, as the converter has already peaked with a great UI, API, instant conversions, and quite a few options. Here's the major new additions:

• The entire website now features a beautiful Dark Mode which is enabled automatically depending on your device settings! This can be toggled ON/OFF via the option in the navigation bar.
  

 

• The Decrypted App Store now has beautifully designed app pages with extensive app details and Sideloadly installation instructions, making it easier to share apps with other members. Example: https://armconverter.com/decryptedappstore/us/app/tiktok/id835599320
  

 

• We’ve added multiple new App Store countries! This is the largest list available and currently includes: USA, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Sweden, Philippines, Canada, China, Vietnam, New Zealand and Thailand! Special thanks to @Laxus for providing most of these stores!
• Users can now search for apps using the App Name (e.g., TikTok), Bundle ID (e.g., com.zhiliaoapp.musically), or App ID (e.g., 835599320)!
• We fixed a nasty bug where free users upgrading to ViP wouldn’t have their quota reset immediately, forcing them to wait 24 hours.
• Further increased the reliability of the decryption process.
• Recently Decrypted Apps & Popular Apps now show more apps.
• We added breadcrumbs to the website to make navigation easier.
• We also added a quick way to copy the app Bundle ID, iOS & device compatibility information, tooltips for better clarity (app size, compatibility icon, Bundle ID), app categories, similar apps, app descriptions, recent update changelogs, and much more!

 

👷‍♂️ What We’ll Be Working on Next

1. Adjust the quota in real-time on the frontend when a decryption request is initiated, rather than when it is processed. This will prevent users from thinking multiple requests are enqueued beyond their quota, which would eventually be canceled. DONE!
2. After upgrading to VIP, automatically refresh the status on the website so users don’t have to log out and back in to see the change. DONE!

Uploading IPAs to decrypt is something we've been wanting to do but currently we would need the Apple ID login of the user which is not a great way of decrypting.

Decrypting old app versions is available already.

Yes, since we use these accounts ourselves and we need them to be as stable as possible, we had to limit their usage.
