Private server for The Simpsons Tapped Out

Hey, so tl;dr Simpsons tapped out shut down and there is a group trying to make a private server for it.

There is already a working server for android, but iOS is a bit more difficult. As this forum is iOS focused, maybe there is developers here interested in the project.

We'd be interested in this as The Simpsons Tapped Out was a fun game! Sad to see they've discontinued it.

However, is this game still popular enough to spend time creating a private server for it?

There's > 1k people on the discord so there is some slight demand.

I think you could easily get around 10k players at the beginning. There are also some tools being made, so the community could create their own events, tasks etc.

Yes i have it. Also @Zahir was providing a hack for the game, so he could most likely help a lot. Same with @Laxus

Also a hack would not be necessary for a private server as you can just give yourself everything !

This is sad, unfortunately I don't have any experience making private server for games. Isn't this required game source code?

well you just need all the request urls and the proper responses which shouldn’t be too hard to find?!?!
