1 Week Ban. Ways to avoid ?

Recieved a one week ban last week, it’s lifted as of now. I’m just curious for any of the long time mcoc mod users whats safe? level 49 cavalier. im on last chapter of act 6. im just afraid ill use mod at all and lose progress.  not in alliance not doing aw or bg. mostly event and side quests with occasional story 100%ing. Any help appreciated.
