Yes it does, even if the slider for max players is not to 255 or 0 don’t worry that how the behavior works, just move the slider create the room and see. To check you can wait few people to join and then leave for the room stay alive and see that the number is 0 or 255 depending what you set 0 should be used if you want that more than 16 players can join the same room.

More than 16 as you can see In one of screens, i made a room and there is 24 players, please re read what has been wrote.
