The short version: This has been patched. Tested on 1.20.10

The first part of this still looks like it works, but it's a lie. When you use the split items hack to increase the value enough to overflow, it still adds that item to the inbox. Items you take from the inbox still persist even after a restart and even if you run the game with a clean install from the App Store. So I got my hopes up and duplicated all my settlement resources. The reality sets in when you try to use them. Even though they persist through a restart, they still give the synchronization error when you try to finalize a building or use them as an ingredient. I thought I was being safe and just took one of each item to dupe, but when I deleted the overflow item from storage, it also removed legitimate items that weren't used in the dupe.

No, I never had access to the video. I just figured out what was happening by reading the different comments in this and another similar thread.

Indeed it's patched, been a while since last time i play because my app+ revoked.

I will try another way if still possible. But not sure if share this to public again will last longer or not.

If previously u did the hack and still have the items, its still usable, but for new player or never use this hack method, u cant use this method anymore.

Last time it did help a lot. But my old save got broken now, so need help on the new one.

2. Open mercenary upgrade menu + Open iGameGod

3. Add one stripe at a time to the upgrade menu BUT DO NOT CLICK UPGRADE

4. Find the corresponding value for Merc Stripes by: Adding stripes to the upgrade menu in increments, then refining search

(i.e. Selecting 2 stripes in upgrade menu at first, searching the value “2” in IGG, adding another stripe to upgrade menu for 3 stripes, refine search for value “3” etc.)
