Run .IPA on lower required iOS!!

Running around the internet, found this, and I thought I would share this to you guys

I have seen too many app now required too high iOS (4.1 , 4.2) when you only need iOS 4.0!

This thread was made based on Windows and using Window's tool, MAC OS user can do the same with the same tool

 

STEP 1:

Have Winzip or WinRAR and plist editor for Windows

 

STEP 2:

Go to the .ipa file you want to change iOS version => Open with => Winzip

 

STEP 3:

Go to Payload => appname.app => find for Info.plist => Right click, choose Open with => plist Editor for Windows

 

STEP 4:

Find for MinimumOSversion, change to the iOS you want (May not work if it's too low!!)

 

STEP 5:

Save and close plist editor. If Winzip ask you to update the ipa, choose YES

 

STEP 6:

Sync file ipa you just edited :thumbsup:

 

ATTENTION!! :angry:

NOTE!!

This may not work if you changed the MinimumOSversion too low!!  Work depend on games!!!
