I am not quite sure about the genre, however I wrote you a small description of the type of genre I am looking for.

Perhaphs someone who at the beginning is not smart, and gets low grades, however he then begins to study and gets top grades. Something along those lines <3

I just don't like the character designs. And due to this detail I can not watch it with any passion

FMA brotherhood's animation is great.
